New Delhi: AC Milan midfielder David Beckham may not head back to Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of term as his legal team are reportedly working on a way of rescinding his contract in the USA.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims the English international is so in love with Calcio that he would like to take part in the Rossoneri's pre-season and start the next campaign in a Milan jersey.
The report suggests the player's legal team are in Los Angeles trying to find a way of rescinding his Galaxy deal earlier than expected.
'Beck's' current deal with the MLS side expires in November and he will be free to play for Milan again from January 2010. However, voices surrounding the club imply that the midfielder would prefer to remain in Italy, rather than go back to the States next month.
Although the speculation is mounting over the England international's future, Beckham himself admits there is no possibility of him staying on and not returning to the USA.
"There is no chance of me returning to Italy before the end of the year," the player told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Although Beckham has cleared the confusion, the Italian sports paper insists his legal team are trying to find a loophole in order to stop him from going back.
