London: Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has stated he is currently happy at the club, but could be tempted by a move to Barcelona later in his career.
Despite the Gunners enduring a poor start to the season, the Poland international has been in excellent form.
Szczesny, 20, only signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates last year and is keen to continue with the north London club, but refused to rule out a move to the Spanish giants later in his career.
“I can't declare that I will spend my entire career here, but if I leave I will have a very important reason or I will go to Barcelona,“ Szczesny told polskathetimes.pl.
"I can't imagine a situation where I would leave this club just for money."
The confident shot-stopper believes he has a level of authority on the pitch and is keen to one day captain the Gunners.
He added: "I feel that when I say something, everyone listens to me. More so on the field than in the dressing room, but that's more important I think."
"I want to be the captain of the team. I feel that I am able to take on that responsibility. I always wanted to be captain and if I ever get that honour, I will gladly put on the armband."
