The West Bengal board’s class 10 examinations for the year 2025 will be held between February 12 and 24, according to an official announcement.The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) released a statement that mentioned that the exact timetable for the class 10 board exams 2025 will be announced together with the results of this year’s Madhyamik Class 10 exams. According to the official statement, “This is to notify all concerned that the Madhyamik Pariksha 2025 is scheduled to commence from February 12, 2025 and will continue till February 24.

In response to the query about the release date of the 2024 exam results, WBBSE President Ramanuj Ganguly informed PTI that they typically announce the results within 90 days of the exams’ completion. This announcement comes after the successful conclusion of the WB Madhyamik exams 2024, held from February 2 to 12.

It’s worth noting that the board had previously implemented online verification last year, and for the 2024 exams, they further refined the submission process, representing a progressive step in examination administration.The ability to submit marks online is one of the significant changes that the WBBSE implemented. In an effort to improve productivity and expedite the evaluation process, head examiners for the WB Madhyamik exams have been directed to submit the students’ marks using this online platform.

Along with the current mode of reporting marks via OMR mark sheets, the Madhyamik Pariksha marks submission process will now be conducted online for all courses.

In the meantime, two students were caught for bringing mobile phones into the exam halls on the first day of the class 10 board exams this year. They also took photographs of the question paper and shared it on social media. The student’s phone was confiscated. Sub-Divisional Governor Pankaj Tamang of Malda arrived at the school to conduct an investigation as soon as the incident was made public. According to the board’s orders, the student’s examination was cancelled, and the student’s guardian was contacted before being released.
