The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) responsible for administering the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examinations, has officially opened applications for the NDA and NA II on May 15. This presents an opportunity for aspiring candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to enroll in these prestigious programmes.

Interested individuals can complete their registration via the UPSC’s one-time registration (OTR) platform, conveniently accessible on the official website at upsc.gov.in. This year, the NDA has made available 370 seats, while the NA has 34 seats, totalling 404 seats for the NDA and NA II examinations.

Step-by-step guide to apply for UPSC NDA, NA 2 Exam 2024

Step 1: The first step is to visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Once you reach the homepage, go to the ‘Examination’ section and select ‘Active Examinations.’ Select ‘Online Application For NDA, NA 2 Exam.’

Step 3: Look for the ‘Part-1’ next to the National Defence Academy, Naval Academy (II) 2024, and click on it.

Step 4: A pop-up screen will appear with all the rules and regulations. Candidates are required to read all of them and then click on ‘Yes’.

Step 5: Once clicked, users will be redirected to a new page where they can enter their details accurately.

Step 6: Users have to select their preferences for the exam and then proceed to Part II of the application.

Step 7: Users will have to make the payment for the fee in online or offline mode, as mentioned in the instructions section.

Step 8: After that, users will have to select their desired examination centres from the list provided.

Step 9: Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents as required by the application form.

Step 10: Review all entered information and click ‘Submit’. Optionally, download your application form for future reference.

“Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test,” the UPSC said.
