The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their results from the official website,upsc.gov.in. The UPSC CMS exam was held to fill 827 medical officer positions in various government agencies.

This year, the Combined Medical Services (CMS) test 2024 was held on July 14, 2024. The UPSC CMS 2024 exam is divided into two sections: a written exam and a personality test. The written exam is worth 500 marks, split into two papers, each with a maximum score of 250 marks. Additionally, a personality test worth 100 marks will be conducted for candidates who successfully pass the written exam.

UPSC CMS 2024: How to Check Result?

Step 1. Visit upsc.gov.in, the official website.

Step 2. Navigate to the “Results” tab from the homepage.

Step 3. Find the link labelled “Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024” in the results list.

Step 4. Click the link to view your UPSC CMS result. The roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be listed in the PDF.

Step 5. To search your roll number search for the ‘Find’ feature (Ctrl+F or Command+F).

Step 6. For future use, save the CMS result in PDF.

After the final results are announced, the mark sheets of candidates who were not selected will be available on the UPSC website. The results will be accessible to candidates for thirty days. During this period, candidates can request printed copies of their mark sheets by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

UPSC CMS 2024: Exam Process

To be eligible for the Interview/Personality Test, candidates need to fill out the online Detailed Application Form (D.A.F.) and submit it.

During the interview/personality test, candidates must provide original certificates of their age, educational background, community reservation status, and, if applicable, handicap status. It is recommended that they get these documents ready ahead of time and visit the Commission’s website for comprehensive guidelines.

Applicants are reminded to include sufficient evidence of their qualifications and carefully review the requirements for the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission. Candidates who fail to provide the necessary documentation will be disqualified from the Personality Test and will not receive any reimbursement for travel expenses.
