The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the deadline for admission to the academic year 2024-25. Students can register up until July 31. The Punjab Board has declared the deadline for classes 5th, 8th and 12th, reported Indian Express.

As per the official statement, “Government/Aided/Affiliated and Associated School Principals and all the students of Punjab State related to the Punjab School Education Board are hereby informed that for the regular students taking admission in the schools for the fifth, eighth to twelfth classes for the academic year 2024-25. The last date of admission is 31st July 2024.”

Earlier in February, PSEB announced the application dates for admission of Class 10 and Class 12 students under the open school system for the academic year 2024-25. All the students from Government, Non-Government, or any other recognised schools are eligible to apply up until April 30. The board has also offered an option of online registration along with a late fine until August 31. All the students have been told to carefully read all the guidelines before applying for the admission. As per the board, the class 10 accreditation price is Rs 3,300, with an additional Rs 1,650 for renewal. The accreditation charge for class 12 students is Rs 4,400 per group, and the renewal fee is Rs 1,650 per group.

Meanwhile, the PSEB class 5 board exam 2024 was held on March 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14, the class 8th annual exams were conducted on March 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 27 at different exam centers set up by the Punjab board. The duration of both class 5 and 8 exams was three hours for all subjects. Students were given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

The Punjab Board class 10 exams 2024 took place from February 13 up to March 5. The class 12 exams also began on February 13 and will continue till March 30. The exams are held in the morning shift from 10 am to 1:15 am. PSEB allows students with disabilities a scribe facility and an extra 20 minutes for the examination.
