The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the final answer key for the NCET (National Common Entrance Test) 2024 and candidates who appeared for the exam can view the final answer key on the official website at ncet.samarth.ac.in. The NCET was conducted on July 10 and the provisional answer key was released on July 30. Meanwhile, candidates were allowed to raise objections until July 31. Candidates needed to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question to raise objections. The results are expected to be released by the NTA soon.
NCET 2024 Answer Key: Steps to Download
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to download the final answer key:
Step 1. Visit the official website of NCET: ncet.samarth.ac.in.
Step 2. Under ‘Public Notice’ section, candidates must click on the link that read, “Display of Final Answer Key For The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024.”
Step 3. A PDF will be opened on another screen.
Step 4. Review and do not forget to download the final answer key.
Step 5. Print a hard copy of your NCET answer key for further need.
NCET 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam consisted of 66 subjects, divided into 38 languages, 26 domain subjects, a General Test and a Teaching Aptitude Test. Each candidate was required to select and complete 7 subjects: 2 languages, 3 domain subjects, 1 General Test and 1 Teaching Aptitude Test.
Language: It covered Reading Comprehension, Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary
General Test: It is based on General Knowledge, General Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Quantitative Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Logical and Analytical Reasoning
Domain Subject: According to the Class 12 syllabus only
Teaching Aptitude: Topics on the teaching of Arts, Science, Performing Arts, Mathematics, Languages, etc.
Around 40,233 candidates registered for the NCET 2024. Biometric registration data indicates that approximately 29,000 candidates took the exam across 292 centers in about 160 cities nationwide
NCET is being conducted for admissions to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at various Central and State Universities such as IITs, NITs, RIEs and Government Colleges for the 2024-25 academic session.
