The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the Class 10 (SSC) and 12 (HSC) board exam dates for the academic year 2024-25. As per the latest updates, the MSBSHSE will administer the Maharashtra State Board Class 10 and 12 exams eight to ten days prior than in previous years, reported The Times of India. The board has given schools across the state to provide feedback and address any concerns about the exam dates till Friday, August 23, 2024.
For Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) as well as Higher Secondary Vocational Course exams, the written test will be held from February 11, 2025, to March 18, 2025. Meanwhile, the oral, practical, and internal assessments will be conducted from January 24, 2025, to February 10, 2025. Coming to Secondary School Certificate (Class 10) exams, the exams will commence from February 21, 2025, to March 17, 2025, with internal assessments and practical exams taking place from February 3, 2025, to February 20, 2025, the report added.
The HSC board exams usually commence in the third week of February, followed by the SSC board exams in the first week of March. Furthermore, the board publishes the results by the end of May or the first week of June. However, this time, the board has advanced the examination dates, the report further stated.
The Maharashtra board class 10 final exam results for 2024 were declared on May 27. A total of 95.81 per cent of students passed the Maharashtra Board SSC exam. Girls outperformed boys while the Konkan division secured the best-performing district title yet again.
On the other hand, the overall pass percentage of Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2024 stood at 93.37 per cent. The pass percentage among girls stood at 95.44 per cent while among boys, it was 91.60 per cent. Science was the best-performing stream with a pass percentage of 97.82 per cent, followed by Commerce with a pass percentage of 92.18 per cent, Arts 85.88 per cent, Vocational 87.75 per cent, and ITI 87.69 per cent.
