The Employment Department of Uttar Pradesh continues its efforts to provide employment opportunities to the youth through regular job fairs. In an upcoming initiative, a district-level job fair is scheduled to take place at Gauriganj ITI, Amethi. The event aims to connect local youth with over 25 prominent companies, with a target of filling 500 to 600 job positions.
The job fair will be hosted at the Government ITI campus in Gauriganj, where eligible candidates can apply directly on-site. Upon application, candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number to confirm their registration.
Several leading companies, including Voltas, Wardha, Mahindra, People Tea, Organic Maruti Suzuki, Electronic Mechanical, and Food Processing, along with Shriram Piston and Ring Limited Ghaziabad, will participate in the fair. They will conduct on-the-spot recruitment based on the qualifications of applicants.
Interested candidates can also apply through the web portal rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in using their user ID, selecting companies according to their qualifications.
Required Documents and Eligibility
Candidates aged between 18 to 35 years are eligible to apply. The fair offers monthly salaries ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000. Applicants must bring their Aadhar card, PAN card, photograph, educational certificates, and the registration number for the job fair.
Placement Officer’s Perspective
Anupama Rani, Placement Officer, emphasised the significance of these job fairs in reducing unemployment among youth. She noted that over 1000 youth have secured employment through similar events this month alone, underscoring the ongoing commitment to supporting job seekers.
The job fair presents a vital opportunity for local youth to gain employment directly from leading companies, thereby contributing to economic growth and individual prosperity.
