The Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Apprentices in its different branches/offices in the respective districts at the discretion of the Bank. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the vacancies through the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at jkbank.com. According to the official notification, the application process started on May 14 and will conclude on May 28, 2024.
Under this recruitment drive, the Jammu and Kashmir Bank aims to fill up a total of 276 Apprentice vacancies under Apprentices Act 1961 for a period of one year. It is to be noted that candidates falling under unreserved category will have to pay a fee of Rs 700, whereas Rs 500 is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved category.
J&K Bank Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Unreserved category candidates applying for the post must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on January 1, 2024. However, upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc. as per Government guidelines shall be applicable.
Educational Qualification: Must have done a graduation from a recognised University/ Institute. Students should note that the result should be declared by or before the last date of registration. Moreover, the candidate should be proficient in the local language of the respective region/area. The bank mentioned that preference shall be given to domiciles of the respective region/area.

J&K Bank Recruitment 2024: Stipend
Selected apprentices shall be eligible for a stipend of Rs 10,500 per month for the engagement period of one year. Out of which, an amount of Rs 1,500 shall be disbursed by the government agency through DBT and conveyance up to a maximum of Rs 1,250 per month.
