The Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi spot round admission has started today, July 29. The spot round of the JAC Delhi counselling is open to candidates who have not been accepted into any of the participating institutes’ courses during any of the rounds of the counselling process. Candidates must apply for JAC Delhi spot round admission by going to the official website — jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
The spot round will take place at Delhi Technological University’s B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium from July 29 to August 1. According to the official notification, “If a candidate does not submit the draft of the seat acceptance fee, for any reason, the seat that is granted to him/her at the time of seat allocation would be promptly cancelled and given to the next candidate based on JEE (Main).”
As per the exam authority, candidates who enrolled and were assigned seats in any counselling round but did not show up for admission are also eligible to apply for the JAC spot round 2024. On the other hand, those who have registered online and haven’t filled out any choices may apply for the JAC Delhi spot round counselling in 2024 are eligible. In a round of counselling, seats were assigned to the registered candidates, however, the seat was cancelled for some reason (or any other valid reason), and they remain unadmitted to any participating institute that can also apply.

— Receipt of fee for Rs. 10,000
— Demand Draft for Rs. 85,000 payable at New Delhi, made out to “JAC DELHI ADMISSION FEE”
— Three passport-sized photos of the candidate
— Admit card and score card for JEE Main 2024
— The qualifying exam’s mark sheet
— Certificate of date of birth or diploma of graduation from high school
— Certificate of Reserved Category/Subcategory (if applicable).
— Original medical fitness certificate (General, SC, ST, CW, OBC, SG, TP, CW, and KM applicants)
For admission to B.Tech colleges in Delhi, the authority started the JAC Delhi registration and choice-filling process on May 30. On June 23, JAC Delhi 2024 registration was closed. The JAC Delhi 2024 counselling was done online by the authority. Registration, choice-filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the designated institute were all part of the JAC Delhi 2024 counselling process. On the official website, the authority declared the JAC Delhi seat distribution for rounds 1 to 5.
Students who wish to pursue BE/BTech and BArch degree programmes in Delhi can get counselling through JAC Delhi. Five technical institutions and institutes within the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi administer the exam for admission. These include Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
