The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced a recruitment drive for 473 Apprentice vacancies under multiple trades. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications on the official website, iocl.com, before the deadline on February 1.
The diverse array of trades open for recruitment includes Mechanical, Electrical, T&I (Instrumentation), Human Resources, Accounts/Finance, and Data Entry Operator, among others. According to IOCL, the apprenticeship and training period will span 12 months, with apprentices receiving a stipend per month as per the provisions outlined in the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules of 1992 (as amended), and under the guidelines set by the Corporation.
IOCL Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Eligibility requires applicants to be a minimum of 18 years old and not surpass 24 years as of January 12. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age limit relaxation following the prevailing guidelines.
Educational Qualification: According to the official notification from IOCL, candidates applying for the Apprentice positions should have completed their 12th grade, diploma, degree, or graduation from any of the recognised boards or universities.

IOCL Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Selection for the Apprentice vacancies will be based on a written test featuring objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The test will consist of 100 questions, each carrying one mark, with a negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards for the upcoming written test between February 9 and February 18. The Written Test is tentatively scheduled for February 18, 2024.
