The Indian Coast Guard has started the application process for the recruitment of the Post Navik (General Duty) from February 13. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website at cgept.cdac.in. The last day to apply is February 27.
A total of 260 vacancies are there for the post of Navik General Duty across different zones of the Indian Coast. In the North, there are 79 posts available, in the West, it is 66, in the North East, its 68 posts, in the East 33 posts are there, in the North West 12 posts and only 3 posts in Andaman and Nicobar, as per the notification.
ICG Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The candidates applying for the Post Of Navik (General Duty) must be between 18 years to 22 years old. Candidates should be born between 1 September 2002 to 31 August 2006.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must pass 10+2 with Maths and Physics, from an education board recognised by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Step 3: Go and click the registration link for the CGEPT 02/2024 batch
Step 4: Register yourself and then processed further
Step 5: Fill out the form with accurate information
Step 6: Upload all the documents that are listed on the form
Step 7: Pay the fee that’s mentioned on it. After the completion, take a printout of the application form for further reference.
ICG Recruitment 2024: Examination Fee
The candidates have to pay 300 as the examination fee except SC, and ST are exempted from the fee. The candidates can pay fees by using net banking, Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI. The e-admit will be provided only to the candidates who have paid fees.
ICG Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
There will be three stages to get selected for the posts — the first stage is a computer-based examination; the second stage is an adaptability test, PMT, and document verification; and the third stage consists of document verification and pre-enrolment medicals at INS Chilka.
ICG Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale
The candidate who got selected for the post will have a pay scale between 2,50,000 to 3,00,000 including other allowances. There are opportunities to get promoted to the position of Pradhan Adhikari based on their performance during tenure.
