IIT JAM 2025: Registrations to Begin on September 3, Check Documents Required

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, will commence the registration process for the Joint Admission Test Masters (JAM) 2025 on September 3. All the candidates seeking admission to various Masters programmes for the academic year 2025-26 can apply through the official website, joaps.iitd.ac.in. The deadline to submit the application form is October 11.

The JAM 2025 exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test mode on February 2, 2025, in two shifts across 100 cities. Mathematics, Chemistry, and Geology exams will be administered in the forenoon shift, while Biotechnology, Economics, Physics, and Mathematical Statistics will be conducted in the afternoon shift.

Through this test, students will be selected for admission to about 3000 seats in various post-graduate programmes at IITs and over 2,000 seats at IISc and NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through CCMN.

IIT JAM 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Those who are in their last year of an undergraduate course or who have achieved an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for the JAM 2025 exam. There are no age limitations for candidates.

How to apply for IIT JAM 2025?

Step 1: Navigate to the official website, joaps.iitd.ac.in

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the JAM 2025 link and click on it.

Step 3: Enter the required information and generate a user ID and password.

Step 4: After successfully logging in, fill in the application form.

Step 5: Upload the required documents as instructed and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Review all the information once again and click on submit.

Step 7: Download and take a hard copy of the IIT JAM 2025 registration form for future reference.

IIT JAM 2025: Documents Required

Students must upload the following documents during the registration process:

–– Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

–– Coloured passport-size photographs

–– Signature of the candidate

–– Category Certificate

Note that admissions will be given based on the availability of seats, the Government of India’s reservation policy, and the All India Rank (AIR) in each of the JAM 2025 test papers.

The JAM exam is administered every year to select candidates for postgraduate seats for various Master’s programmes such as MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc-PhD and MSc-PhD Dual Degree offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur.
