Youth hoping to get a start at Google are being presented with a golden opportunity in the form of internships. As per a notification shared on the platform’s website, the company has started recruitment for software application development apprenticeship, which will commence in 2025. The Google apprenticeship will start in March 2025. The tech giant has brought this opportunity for the students who are not currently enrolled or have completed their Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree in the subject of computer engineering or computer science or a field related to it.
Students who are interested in the opportunity can apply for the apprenticeship at google.com/about/careers, the official website. As per more reports, the duration of the work is said to be 12 months, while the whole application process is expected to take around 18 week to 24 weeks.
Minimum Qualifications required:
– The interested candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of computer science or a subject related to it.
– They should have less than a year of experience in coding language programming. It should be in at least two languages, which include Java, C++ or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Must have experience in using Google Workspace or a similar productivity tool.
– Possess the ability to work alone and with the team, along with handling multiple tasks and finding solutions where required.
– Candidates with great communication skills, organisational skills, positive attitude and excellent customer service capabilities, will be given preference.
Through this apprenticeship opportunity, a candidate will get a chance to learn and follow the coding standards. Engage with the team in the development of software based on approved projects and platforms. The candidate can choose to work on-site, from the locations of Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The last date to apply for the apprenticeship is October 23.
