The Canara Bank is inviting online applications from graduates for the position of apprentice. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the bank’s official website at canarabank.com. Candidates will have to register on the apprenticeship portal at nats.education.gov.in, before applying for an apprenticeship in the bank.  Candidates having a 100 per cent complete profile on the apprenticeship portal are eligible to apply.

The registration window will open on September 21 and will remain open until October 4. Under this recruitment drive, the bank is aiming to fill up a total of 3,000 apprentice posts in the organisation.

Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Candidates between the age group of 20 years and 28 years can apply for the apprentice recruitment. This means applicants must have been born between September 1, 1996, and September 1, 2004 (both days inclusive). Age relaxation will be given to the candidates of reserved categories.

Educational Qualification: To be eligible, candidates should have a degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the government of India or any equivalent qualification recognised by the central government.

Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

Candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates, on the other hand, are exempted from the fee. Applicants can pay the fee using credit cards, debit cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, Cash Cards, IMPS, or mobile wallets.

Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

For selection, merit lists of candidates will be prepared state-wise in descending order based on the marks/percentage obtained in the 12th standard (HSC/10+2)/Diploma Examination. The lists will be prepared based on the information submitted by the applicants during the online application. After this, document collection and a test of the local language will be held during the document verification process.

Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Salary

After getting selected, candidates can expect a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 (including subsidy amount, if any, by the Govt. of India) during the period of the apprenticeship. An amount of Rs 10,500 will be transferred to the account of the apprentice every month by the bank. The government share of the stipend of Rs 4,500 will be directly credited to the apprentices’ bank account through DBT mode.
