The Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC) has released the Assam HS (Class 12) results. In accordance with the official notice, the results were announced today, May 9 at 9 AM. Candidates can check their results at ahsec.assam.gov.in, and resultsassam.nic.in by entering their roll number on the login window.
This year’s pass rate for the Assam board Class 12 Exam is 88.64 per cent. The Science stream recorded a pass rate of 90.29 per cent, while the Arts and Commerce streams recorded pass rates of 88.24 per cent and 88.28 per cent, respectively.
This year’s Assam Board Class 12 Exam had participation from 273,908 pupils in total. Male students made up 139,486 of them, and female students made up 142,732. 206,467 students from the Arts stream, 17,582 students from the Commerce stream, and 54,287 students from the Science stream took the test.

The Council administered the Class 12 exams from February 12 to March 13, 2024, at several exam centres throughout the state. This year, a total of 2,80,216 candidates appeared for the exam, including 1,39,486 boys and 1,42,732 girls.
Candidates who sat for the AHSEC board exams should be aware that the Class 12 results will be announced in the form of a mark sheet. The marksheet will include the subject-specific marks received by candidates in the written exam. It will also include the marks secured by students in the practical exam. In addition, the candidate’s passing status will be mentioned on the marksheet.

Assam Board Class 12 Results 2024: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website at resultsassam.nic.in and ahsec.assam.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the “Assam HS 12th Result 2024” link.
Step 3: As a new window opens, enter your roll number and click on submit.
Step 4: The Assam Board Class 12 Results 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download the result.
Assam Board Class 12 Results 2024: How to Check via SMS?
Step 1: Open the messaging app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Compose a message using the following format: ASSAM12.
Step 3: Send the SMS to the number 56263.
Step 4: You will receive the AHSEC HS Result 2024 as a text message on the same number.
During the announcement of results, the official website server may slow down, preventing students from seeing their results for a few hours. The Assam board has devised an alternative method for checking AHSEC results via SMS.
The Assam Class 12 mark sheets downloaded by candidates will be provisional. They can access their original AHSEC mark sheets from their schools at least a month after the results are announced. If a candidate fails to meet the minimal passing marks in one or two subjects, he or she may appear in the compartment test.
Assam Board Class 12 Results 2024: When Were Exams Held?
The examinations for the Assam Board were successfully conducted from February 20 to March 20, with a total of 3,42,689 students from across the state appearing for the exams. Among the participants, 2,72,529 students were from the Arts stream, 47,485 were from the Science stream, and 20,907 were from the Commerce stream.

In 2023, the AHSEC released the Assam board exam Class 12 result on June 6. In the science stream, 84.96 per cent pass percentage was recorded. Meanwhile, in the arts stream, 70.12 per cent pass percentage was recorded and in the commerce stream, 79.57 per cent pass percentage was recorded. In vocational 85.91 per cent pass percentage was observed.
