'You Know the Message From Gauti When Playing for Your Country': Ryan ten Doeschate Reiterates India's All Out Intent Ahead of Final T20I vs Bangladesh
Team India assistant coach ten Doeschate head coach Gautam Gambhir's mentality to go all guns blazing at all times and touched upon the former Indian opener's sentiments towards representing India on the international stage.

Team India head into the third and final T20I against Bangladesh with an unassailable 2-0 lead and assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate asserted the team’s desire and intent to close out the series on a high with a whitewash of the visitors.

“Ideally, yes, we want to finish,” the Dutchman said.

He reflected on head coach Gautam Gambhir’s mentality to go all guns blazing at all times and touched upon the former Indian opener’s sentiments towards representing India on the international stage.

“Obviously you know, the messaging again from Gauti, the importance of each game playing for your country and and also putting yourself under pressure every time,” he explained.

“So there’s absolutely no talk about not putting that as a focus for tomorrow,” he boomed.

He lauded the quality of cricket the national team has displayed in wrapping up the series and shed light on the inclination of the side to pick up on the skills and abilities of the new crop with an eye on honing it for the future.

“It’s been great in terms of the quality of cricket that’s been played,” the 44-year-old said.

“Probably more important is to understand some of the guys that have come into the team for the first time,” he revealed.

“And just having the guys around, you know, Jitesh Sharma and the guys that haven’t played Tilak Verma and Harshit Rana, just having them around and seeing how they operate and then what strings we need to pull to get the best out of them because they are going to be important certainly in the next 18 month,” he opined.
