WATCH | Sajid Khan's Magical Delivery to Dismiss Matthew Potts in Pakistan vs England Multan Test
Sajid Khan bowled a magical ball to get the better of Matthew Potts.

Sajid Khan ripped through England’s middle order to help Pakistan gain momentum in the second Test match at Multan. Sajid had picked four wickets while conceding just 14 runs in the final session on Day 2. He continued his demolishing job the next morning and wrapped up with a seven-wicket haul. In the 60th over of England’s innings, Sajid unleashed a magical delivery to get the better of Matthew Potts.

The ball was pitched way outside the off stump but sneaked in. Potts attempted to flick it towards the leg side. The England batter was baffled by the turn and completely missed the line. The ball ultimately crashed onto the middle and leg stumps. It marked the sixth wicket for Sajid, who appeared to be unplayable on the Multan surface.

Pakistan Cricket dropped a video of the delivery on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Sneaked Through. Another beauty produced by Sajid.” The post grabbed the eyeballs of many fans, who praised the 31-year-old off-spinner.

One of them commented, “This is something he (Sajid) is definitely good at. He is not afraid of giving flight to the ball. That is what spinners should do.”

Another fabelled Sajid Khan as the “rising star” in international cricket. “Performances like this will only enhance his reputation,” the person added.

“Sajid has magic,” claimed a user.

Pakistan batted first in the ongoing Test and produced 366 runs in their first innings. Debutant Kamran Ghumal contributed with a 118-run knock while Saim Ayub added 77 to the scoreboard. Spinner Jack Leach was the best bowler for England with four wickets. Among others, Brydon Carse scalped three and Matthew Potts got two under his belt.

Ben Duckett gave the visitors a positive start. The opener struck 114 runs to become the second-highest scorer in this World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. Among the other English batters, no one was able to survive long. England were ultimately bundled out for 291 runs in their first innings.
