IPL 2024 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap Standings After LSG vs PBKS: Shikhar Dhawan 3rd Highest Run-Getter, LSG Jump to 5th
Check out the holders of the orange and purple caps and the changes in the points table after the recent fixture in the IPL between LSG vs PBKS.

Shikhar Dhawan’s Punjab Kings once again found themselves at the receiving end despite being in a comfortable spot for the most part of the game against Lucknow Super Giants. Chasing 200, the duo of Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow added 102 for the opening wicket before the Kings lost the plot. LSG debutant Mayank Yadav cast a spell with his sheer pace to break the fierce opening stand after bowling the fastest delivery of the season clocking 155.8 kph.

Dhawan tried keeping PBKS in the hunt but once he was gone, the batters down the order couldn’t finish the job. Mayank returned 3 for 27 at an economy of 6.80 and bagged the Player of the Match Award. Earlier, a Quinton de Kock fifty followed by blazing cameos by Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya had guided LSG to a huge 199/8 in 20 overs.
