He has also been a big part of the Kolkata Knight Riders batting order as well scoring huge runs for the side in the death overs. The Indian cricket team will be banking on his performances to continue with the T20 World Cup coming up soon after the IPL.

Ever since the retirement of the legendary MS Dhoni, who has held the position as the finisher for India, there hasn’t been any other batter who has been able to take the pressure of the finishing role for India since his retirement.

But Rinku Singh has been stand-out in his batting in the international format, having performed in home and away conditions, thus proving himself as the man for the big role as finisher for the Indian side.

His ability to take the game against the toughest opposition will come in handy for the Indian team as they aim to reclaim the T20 World Cup which is coming up later on in 2024. The title has been one that has eluded the Indian side, having last won the title in the inaugural edition in 2007 under MS Dhoni himself.

The Indian team have completed all the T20Is ahead of the tournament and will have the five-match Test series against England at home followed by the IPL where the players will look to prepare themselves against a variety of oppositions and then go on to play in the T20 World Cup.
