Not-so-engaging Second Half? Rumour Spreads About Thalapathy Vijay's Leo; Here's What We Know So Far
A rumour that has been circulating on social media is that although Leo has an engaging first half, the second half of the movie is not that good.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s latest installment into the Lokesh Cinematic Universe titled Leo has been gaining a lot of attention ever since its announcement. Both Kaithi and Vikram, previous films in the shared universe, did phenomenal business and were well received, upping the ante for Leo. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s last collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay Master was also very well received and hence hopes are high for Leo and the hype is sky-high. Set to hit screens on October 19, Leo is presently on the editing table, according to the latest reports.

But even before its release, the team of Leo has been busy combating some rumours that have risen out of nowhere regarding the film. Political pundit Savukku Shankar recently revealed information on the audio premiere of Leo on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

The tweet claimed that permission for the audio launch event at Nehru Indoor Auditorium on September 30 would be granted only on the condition that DMK family’s Red Giant Movies be given the distribution rights to the film in Chennai, Chengalpattu, North Arcot, and South Arcot. But the producer of Leo, Seven Screen Studio, completely denied this and said that they were mere rumours.

There has been no official confirmation with regard to the date and venue of the audio launch as of yet. Another rumour that has been circulating on social media is that although Leo has an engaging first half, the second half of the movie is not that good. This message is being circulated on WhatsApp and other social media. But this seems to be completely baseless as the movie is still on the editing table and it is extremely unlikely that anyone from outside the production would have seen the film yet.

Additionally, music composer Anirudh Ravichander has not even started on the background score for the film so the movie could have been screened in any way. Subsequently, this too has been revealed to be a rumour spread on the internet.

Leo also stars Trisha Krishnan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Myshkin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Alikhan and Sanjay Dutt.
