Credit card users now have some good news. Paying credit card bills through third-party apps has become more convenient. Leading credit card providers such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Punjab National Bank (PNB) have connected their systems with Bharat Bill Payment Systems (BBPS) to facilitate repayments via these apps. The RBI had earlier instructed that starting from July 1, all credit card payments should be processed through BBPS. However, several banks have still not enabled BBPS for credit card bill payments through third-party apps.
