IBM Daksh tops Businessworld BPO list
The rankings are an outcome of an Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) poll conducted by Businessworld Magazine.

New Delhi: IBM Daksh, the process transformation and management arm of IBM has been ranked as the number one BPO firm in the 'India's Most Respected Companies' survey.

The rankings are an outcome of an Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) poll conducted by Businessworld Magazine, India's leading weekly business magazines.

The results were published in April 9, 2007 issue of Businessworld Magazine.

Views from 682 senior managers across industry were obtained through the poll, who rated companies across seven different parameters namely: (i) Innovativeness, (ii) quality and depth of top management, (iii) financial performance and return to shareholders, (iv) ethics and transparency, (v) quality of products and services, (vi) people practice / talent management and (vii) global competiveness

IBM Daksh presently has over 20,000 employees across 17 delivery centers spread over India and the Philippines, more than tripling its size since June 2004 when IBM acquired Daksh.

IBM acquired Daksh in April 2004, to enhance IBM's business transformation capabilities in key areas including Customer Relationship Management and financial management services in key industries such as banking, insurance, retail, technology, telecommunications and travel and transportation.
