On Tuesday, March 23, Gold rates observed a marginal decline as the rate of 1 gram of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 4,380 after falling by Rs 12 from the previous rate of Rs 4,392. According to Good Returns, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat-gold is Rs 43,800 after a decline of Rs 120 from Rs 43,920 on the earlier day. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat yellow metal also fell by Rs 120 similar to the rates of 22-carat gold to Rs 44,800 compared to the previous rate of Rs 44,920. A difference of Rs 1,000 can be noticed in the rate of 10 grams of 22-carat gold and 24-carat gold. A nominal fall has also been observed in the rates of silver.

Delhi: In the national capital, the cost of 22-carat gold is Rs 44,200 per 10 grams. While for 24-carat gold it is Rs 48,220 for the same quantity.
Chennai: One can buy gold jewellery by paying Rs 42,120 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold in Chennai while for 24-carat gold of the same quantity the cost is Rs 45,950.
Kolkata: Rs 44,540 is the rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold at which one can buy the metal in Kolkata while for 24-carat the price is Rs 47,210 per 10 grams.
Mumbai: For 10 grams of 22-carat yellow metal in Mumbai the price is Rs 43,800, while for 10 grams of 24-carat gold the purchaser needs to pay Rs 44,800.
International Price of GoldIn the international market, the rate of gold witnessed a downfall of 0.30 percent to USD 1,734.10 per ounce on Tuesday. Its performance also declined in the last 30 days by 2.83 percent which is equivalent to USD 50.50.
Silver PricesSimilar to the gold rates, silver prices also witnessed a nominal decline as for 10 grams of the metal the rate fell by Rs 9 to Rs 666 from Rs 675 on the previous day.
Silver Rates in Metro CitiesThe rate of silver too keeps on changing for various states. In Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata the price of silver stood theat Rs 66,600 for one kilogram. While for buying the metal in Chennai and Hyderabad one will have to pay Rs 70,000 for the same quantity of the metal.
