The producers of the blockbuster hit HanuMan are basking in the film’s enormous success and have set their sights on Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep for their next project, reported to be a family entertainer. This news has sparked immense excitement among fans eager to see their favorite star in another compelling role.
As one of the most in-demand actors in the country, Kiccha Sudeep is currently engrossed in the filming of his upcoming project titled Max, alongside numerous other ventures. Recent reports indicate that the actor was approached by Niranjan Reddy, the producer behind the sensational success of HanuMan. It’s rumoured that Reddy has proposed a family-centric film to Sudeep, causing a stir among fans on social media. However, neither the producer nor the actor has officially confirmed these reports yet.
Niranjan Reddy’s HanuMan has emerged as one of the year’s most successful Indian films, hitting theatres on January 12 to coincide with Sankranthi celebrations. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film features an ensemble cast including Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai and Vennela Kishore. Produced under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, the movie boasts a stellar musical score by Gowrahari and Anudeep Dev, with Dasaradhi Sivendra handling cinematography and Sai Babu Talari in charge of editing. With a budget of Rs 40 crore, HanuMan has already amassed an impressive Rs 330 crore at the box office.
Meanwhile, Kiccha Sudeep is juggling multiple projects, including Max, Billa Ranga Baashaaa and Kabzaa 2, along with two untitled films tentatively referred to as Kiccha 47 and Kiccha 48. The Kannada superstar was last seen in the 2022 release Vikrant Rona, directed by Anup Bhandari. Portraying the titular character alongside Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok and Jacqueline Fernandez, Sudeep delivered a captivating performance in this venture produced by Shalini Manjunath, Jack Manjunath and Alankar Pandian under the banners of Kiccha Creations, Shalini Arts, and Invenio Origin.
