Two days ago, there was a lot of talk on social media about Darshan’s Kaatera team having a surprise for his followers. It was expected that, given the two songs they had already unveiled, the trailer would be released sooner than previously stated. But as the day went on, it was said that an update would only be provided on December 13. Fans were positive that filmmaker Tharun Kishore Sudhir will unveil the trailer this week. The trailer would be released considerably later, the media was informed, with a provisional release date of December 23, just six days before the movie opens in theatres
Fans are anticipating the release of Kaatera’s trailer on December 16, based on the chatter on social media. It is unknown when the caravan will drop exactly and whether there will be a ground-level event for it. There are reports that an event will be held in Hubbali but there has not been any confirmation.
Before the movie opens in theatres, the team might also release one or two more songs. The two songs that have been released thus far have gotten varying reviews. The compositions of V Harikrishna have been labelled as outdated. The on-screen duo of Darshan and newcomer Aradhanaa Ram, who is the daughter of seasoned actress Malashree, has also not won over many fans. Fans believe Aradhanaa is far too young to be romancing Darshan.
The fact that Kaatera’s premise is based on a true story has added to the excitement around the film, especially as Challenging Star Darshan and director Tharun Sudhir are working together after the big success of Roberrt. Kaatera is slated for theatrical release on December 29 and looks to be a great way to close out the year.
With backing from Rockline Entertainment, Kaatera has music composed by V Harikrishna, cinematography by Sudhakar S Raj, and dialogue by Maasthi. In addition to debutante Aaradhana, prominent roles in Kaatera’s cast are played by actors Jagapathi Babu, Vinod Alva, and Kumar Govind.
