The leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has been working on Grand Vitara’s trim, and seems like all set to introduce the new model with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in India. Yes, you read it right. It has been reported that the company might release an advanced safety-loaded model around the first quarter of 2023.
However, the brand has not shared any official details regarding the same as yet. But, some reports suggested that if the ADAS-enabled variant is launched, customers will have to spend an extra amount between Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000.

It was reported, that the brand wanted to launch the advanced model on a priority basis in a competitive market this year. However, some of the important component shortages delayed the plan and pushed the dates further.
Maruti Suzuki is running in this race alone. The German car maker Toyota is also expected to include ADAS in its Hyryder, which might hit the market on a similar timeline as the Grand Vitara.

Meanwhile, the Grand Vitara was launched in India under the price bracket between Rs 10.45 to Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Under this, price range, customers get tons of advanced features in the SUV. The list includes 6 airbags, ESP, 360-degree camera with parking sensors, ABS with EBD, disc brakes at both ends, seat belt reminder, speed alert, and whatnot.

The vehicle was offered with a 1.5L petrol engine, generating a max power of 113.9 bhp and 122 Nm at 4,440-4,800 rpm.
