The Japanese car manufacturer Honda revealed the all-new Prelude during the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. The two-door coupe design four-wheeler has been displayed in a concept avatar, inspired by the original styling, which was first introduced in 1978, and discontinued in 2001.
Honda Prelude Concept Powertrain
It has been reported by the company that the all-new will powered by the strong hybrid engine, featuring the unit in a future sporty model. The brand has not shared or revealed further details about specs as yet. However, it says that the developmental concept will be updated in the future before putting it into the production series.
The statement somehow hints that the Honda might drop the vehicle in the market with some cosmetic changes, and might not look as same as the concept avatar.
Honda Prelude Design
As per the images, the vehicle seems production-ready as it flaunts a sleek design with a futuristic approach. Talking about the overall look, Prelude gets some of the styling cues from the company’s top-selling sedan Civic, which still has a decent fan following globally. The car features 20-inch wheels, enhancing its overall exterior profile and making it look aggressive and classy at the time.
When it comes to the interior, it is still a big suspense as all the windows are tinted. It is expected that the company reveal it by itself soon.

Reacting about the Prelude Concept, the company’s president Toshihiro Mibe said “The model will become a prelude for our future models, which will inherit the ‘joy of driving’ into the full-fledged electrified future.”
