BSA Motorcycle to Enter in India with All-New Gold Star 650, Launching on August 15
We feel the company might introduce the Gold Star 650 at the similar range as Royal Enfield's Interceptor 650.

After receiving an overwhelming response in the International market, the British two-wheeler manufacturer Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) is finally stepping into the Indian market.

The Classic Legends-owned company is scheduled to launch its flagship model Gold Star 650 on August 15. The news already has been confirmed by the brand via an official release. The price-related details and official bookings are likely to be announced at the launch event. The customers can expect the delivery later this year.

Here’s What to Expect from BSA Gold Star 650

Talking about the road presence first, the upcoming offering from the BSA will share a similar style statement as their iconic bike Gold Star from the 1960s. It will get the signature style tear-drop fuel tank, stylish round-shaped headlight setup with integrated DRLs, and spoke wheels.

For comfort, it will get a lighter aluminium rim, a single seating arrangement and will be equipped with upside-down forks. This will allow the riders to have a stable riding experience on any terrain.

Design Language

The model is reportedly to arrive with a pure retro style. Even the engine has been designed in such a manner to compliment the retro vibe. The Bullet-inspired silver finish exhaust and round analogue dials will be there on board to add an extra feather to its overall charm.

Engine and Power

It has been reported that the upcoming motorcycle will use an impressive 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor. It will generate a maximum power of 45bhp and 55Nm. These figures will remain the same as international-spec.

Expected Price

As far as the prices are concerned, we feel the company might introduce the Gold Star 650 in a similar range as Royal Enfield’s Interceptor 650. It might fall under the price bracket between Rs. 2.90-3.15 lakh (ex-showroom). To note, this is just a speculation, a concreted confirmation is yet to be shared by the brand.
