GSET Result 2023 Result Relased at gujaratset.ac.in, How to Download

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda released the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) Result 2023 on January 17, 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the GSET 2023 recruitment exam can now check and download their results from the official website at gujaratset.ac.in. The GSET 2023 exam was conducted on November 26 and it was held for the post of Assistant Professor in state universities and colleges. It was conducted at 11 centres across the state.

The GSET 2023 scorecard will mention the roll numbers of the candidates provisionally qualified at the 17th Gujarat SET exam. To check the GSET 2023 scorecard, candidates will have to log in using their Order Number and Eazypay transaction ID.

This year, a total of 35,286 candidates appeared in the GSET 2023 recruitment exam. Out of which, 2, 619 eligible applicants qualified giving a 7.42 pass percentage result. “This year eight new subjects were introduced including environmental science, forensic science, Hindu studies, Indian knowledge systems, music, performing arts, public administration and visual art making the total number of subjects to 35,” Professor CN Murthy, member secretary of GSET said, as quoted by Times of India.

Professor CN Murthy further stated that commerce has the most qualified candidates (403), followed by chemical science (327), education (231), life science (199), Gujarati (177), and English (169), reports mention. Last year, approximately 2,177 candidates had cleared the Gujarat State Eligibility Test.

GSET Result 2023: Steps To Download

Step 1: Visit the official website of GSET at gujaratset.in

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘GSET Result 2023’ link.

Step 3: As a new page opens, enter the Order Number and Eazypay transaction ID in the space provided.

Step 4: A PDF document displaying the GSET 2023 result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the GSET scorecard.

The university released the GSET 2023 provisional answer key on November 28. Candidates who were not happy with the answer keys were allowed to raise objections, if required until December 12, 2023. After the subject experts examined the challenges the university declared the result of the same. Along with the result, the varsity has also released the GSET 2023 final answer key on the official portal. According to reports, candidates can download their e-certificate from February 29, 2024 onwards.
