AP TET 2018 - Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Tentative Exam Schedule has been released by the Commissionerate of School Education (CSE), Andhra Pradesh on its official website - http://cse.ap.gov.in.

The Teacher Eligibility Test - TET is a State Eligibility test for candidates seeking employment opportunities as teachers in the state government schools. In many states of India, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to qualify the state's Teacher's Eligibility Test in order to apply for the post of government teachers.

As per the official notification, the application process for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) will begin in December 2017 itself. The examination is scheduled to be conducted next month i.e. January 2018.

APTET 2018 Online Application Process Important Dates

The online application window will open on 18th December 2017 and candidates will be able to apply online till 1st January 2018.

APTET 2018 Application Fee

Applicants have to complete the online application process by paying an application fee online from 18th December to 30th December 2017.

APTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Paper – I, which is conducted for Teachers eligible to teach Class 1 to 5 need to possess Intermediate certificate along with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Candidates applying for Paper – II, which is conducted for Teacher eligible to teach Class 6 to 8, need to possess a Graduation Degree (any discipline) from a Recognized University with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) certificate.

APTET 2018 Exam Pattern

APTET 2018 Paper – I and Paper – II will be Computer Based Tests and will comprise of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates will be given two and a half hours to attempt the same.
