Actress Sreemukhi Slays Traditional Look In Black Lehenga Choli

Television presenter and actress Sreemukhi’s latest release Bholaa Shankar did not add anything positive to her career trajectory as the film was a failure both critically and commercially. In the film, she played the best friend of Chiranjeevi’s adopted sister, played by Keerthy Suresh. Known for playing pivotal supporting roles in films, Sreemukhi is also a name that would be included in a list of celebrities making a style statement.

She is known as a fashionista and she recently uploaded some pics that have been setting the internet on fire. Sreemukhi has a knack for traditional wear and she always favours them over western attire. This time too, she uploaded pictures wearing an all-black lehenga choli and the internet cannot keep its calm. She opted for minimal make-up look and accessorised herself with a gajra, a necklace and a pair of earrings.

Her followers, mesmerised by her charm, dropped in appreciative comments and quite a few fans were also seen asking her about her marriage. Some also lauded her for always choosing traditional Indian attire over Western attire.

It is not just Sreemukhi’s fans who are concerned about her marriage. Recently, her mother also pulled her leg publicly on the subject of her marriage. On October 22, a Dasara special programme will be aired on a popular Telugu channel which was attended by Sreemukhi and her mother Latha. The promo shows both of them dancing on the dias and then Latha teases Sreemukhi about her marriage which has the actress blushing silently while the audience roared in laughter.

Sreemukhi began her career by hosting the singing competition Super Singer 9 and the television programme Adhurs. Starring in Prema Ishq Kaadhal as the lead actress, Sreemukhi made her acting debut as Raaji, Allu Arjun’s sister. She also played Swecha, Ram’s sister, in the movie Nenu Sailaja. In addition to hosting the comedy programme Pataas, Sreemukhi co-hosted the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai. She became a household name after becoming the runner-up in Big Boss Telugu 3.
