Bengaluru: The IT city of India, Bengaluru, saw a spate of 13 chain-snatching incidents on Thursday, with two thieves targeting women in residential areas.

The police were able to get some leads with the help of traffic surveillance cameras and private CCTVs in the areas where the incidents took place.

Police said they were on the lookout for two culprits, who were riding through the streets of Bengaluru on a Pulsar bike and snatching chains of unsuspecting women.

The instances happened mostly in West and South Bengaluru, with the first theft being reported at around 6.30 am. It is believed that all the instances of crime were carried out to be the two men captured in CCTV.
