Vincent Joseph, Father-in-law Of Tovino Thomas, Dies Aged 66

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas is currently mourning the loss of his father-in-law, Vincent Joseph, who passed away on December 14 at the age of 66. Vincent Joseph, a retired teacher from Srikrishan High School, Anandapuram, was laid to rest on December 15 at 4 pm. Survived by his wife Mary Vijayam, daughter Lydia, and son Joswin, the funeral took place at St. Thomas Cathedral, Irinjalakuda. Tovino Thomas, along with his wife, is deeply affected by the demise of his father-in-law.

Vincent Joseph’s funeral ceremony was attended by the families of the couple, and the last rites were conducted with solemnity. Tovino Thomas, known for his contributions to Malayalam cinema, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Lidiya, in 2014. The couple, who first met during their school days, celebrated their marriage after a nine-year courtship. They share two children from their union.

Despite the personal loss, Tovino Thomas has been actively engaged in his professional commitments. The actor recently announced his upcoming film titled Identity, with shooting commencing on December 9. Paired with actress Minnal Murali, the film reunites Tovino with directors Anas Khan and Akhil Paul, known for their collaboration on the 2020 thriller Forensic. The movie also marks the return of actress Trisha Krishnan to Malayalam cinema since her debut release, Hey Judze, in 2018.

In addition to Identity, Tovino Thomas is set to appear in Toxic, the 19th film of superstar Yash. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has generated considerable buzz in the industry. Produced under the banner of KVN Productions, Toxic promises to be a significant addition to the actor’s diverse filmography.

Moreover, Tovino Thomas is part of the highly anticipated Malayalam movie L2: Empuran, where he portrays the role of CM Jathin Ramdas.
