In the northern belt of India, parents, teachers, and students are preparing for the return to regular academic schedules as winter vacation comes to an end. When schools resume following the winter break, normal coursework, extracurricular activities, and the overall liveliness of school life return. Due to extremely cold weather, several states had prolonged their winter break till Makar Sankranti, however, a few have once again delayed the reopening of their schools.
