The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strategically expanded the Common University Entrance Test centres by adding two more cities: Gurugram in Haryana and Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. This move is in response to multiple requests from candidates and stakeholders for improved accessibility. The NTA informs candidates that attempts will be made to allocate the examination city of their choice, with the final decision based on the correspondence or permanent address provided by the candidate in their application form. It is worth noting that the NTA previously lowered the number of exam city centres for CUET PG 2024 from 337 in 2023 to 300 in India, for a total of 324 centres, including those outside the nation.
