The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the extended registration window for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate, CUET PG 2024, is set to close today, January 31. This extension was provided to candidates with an opportunity to apply for the examination until 11:50 pm on Wednesday through the official website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. The initial deadline was January 24, but due to popular demand, the NTA decided to extend the application period.

As per the revised schedule, candidates have until February 1 at 11:50 pm to complete the payment of the examination fee. The correction window for CUET PG 2024 will open on February 2, allowing candidates to edit their application forms until February 4.

CUET PG 2024: How to Apply

Here is an easy step-by-step guide for candidates to apply for the CUET PG Admission:

Step 1. Visit the official website of CUET PG – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2. Click on the login link under candidate activity.

Step 3. Select ‘New Registration’ and complete the registration process.

Step 4. Log in with the generated credentials and fill out the application form.

Step 5. Upload the required documents and proceed to pay the application fee.

Step 6. Submit the CUET PG 2024 application form.

Step 7. Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.

CUET PG 2024: Application fee

Candidates from the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200 for two papers, with an additional fee of Rs 600 for each extra paper.

General-Economically Weaker Sections (Gen-EWS) and Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) applicants will pay Rs 1,000, with Rs 500 for each additional paper.

Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and third gender candidates will pay Rs 900, while Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD) will pay Rs 800.

Applicants outside India are subject to an application fee of Rs 6,000 for up to two test papers and Rs 2,000 for each extra paper.

The examination is scheduled to take place between March 11 and 28, with a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes. The exam will be conducted in three shifts, and specific paper timings will be communicated to candidates at a later date. Exam city slips will be released on March 4, and admit cards will be available on the website from March 7. Additionally, answer keys for CUET PG will be released on April 4. CUET PG serves as a national-level examination for admission to postgraduate courses in central universities and other participating institutions.
