JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Registrations Begins; Check Eligibility Criteria, Application Fee
The official schedule states that the NTA will conduct the JEE Main Session 2 exams from April 1 to 15 and results of the same are expected by April 25

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registration for JEE Main 2024 Exam Session 2 from February 2. Candidates preparing to appear for the examination can now register themselves on the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

According to the official notification released in November 2023, the last day of registration for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 is March 2. Following the registration process, NTA will release the candidate’s admit card three days before the examination. As per the release, NTA will conduct the JEE Main Session 2 exams from April 1 to 15. The results of the same are expected by April 25.

JEE Main 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the candidates applying for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination include securing a minimum of 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 board examination or being in the top 20 percentile of the respective board. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) should have secured 65 per cent marks in the Class 12 exam.

JEE Main 2024: How to register?

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration’ link on the homepage.

Step 3: Log in with the required credentials.

Step 4: Fill up the application form with the required details.

Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents and pay the application fee as per the category.

Step 6: Review your application and click ‘submit’.

Step 7: Download and keep a hard copy of the JEE Main application form for future reference.

JEE Main 2024: Application Fees

As per the NTA notification, the exam fee for male applicants from the unreserved/ general-EWS/ OBC category has been set at Rs 900. On the other hand, female applicants from the same categories are required to pay Rs 800 for registration. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category will have to pay Rs 500 as an application fee.

The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 examination from January 24 to February 1. As per the notification, NTA will be releasing the result of the session 1 examination by February 12.

The JEE Main examination is a national-level entrance examination to get admission into National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
