The company has not revealed the exact launch date-related details as yet. However, some reports claimed that the brand might drop the vehicle in 2025.

After being spotted during the testing phase in the international market, Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming EV eVX SUV is now spied in India. Despite being covered with heavy camouflage, the vehicle revealed some of the design elements and important features.

Going by the leaked images, the upcoming e-SUV looks quite similar to the concept version, featuring a proper L-shaped LED headlight setup, upright front fascia, connecting LED tailamps, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, integrated roof spoiler, and blanked-off grille. Apart from this, the vehicle is likely to run on flared wheel arches, which is expected to attract target customers.

When it comes to the interior, customers can expect a similar cabin to the concept version. However, some cosmetic changes are expected. It might come with a massive single infotainment system, supported by all car connect technology. The vehicle is likely to be filled with some trending features such as dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, both ends parking sensors and multi-functional steering wheel, among others.

It has been reported that the eVX will be based on Toyota’s 40PL platform, providing good built quality and safety. The electric SUV might come in good size, measuring 4.3 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2.7 mm.

Under the hood, the eVX will be powered by a 60 kWh battery pack, which will provide a maximum range of around between 550-600 km.
